Newpark Hotel Kilkenny Wedding

Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph the wedding of Una and JD at the Newpark Hotel. The morning preparations took place at the hotel for Una, while JD began his day at his mother’s home, stopping by Kyteler’s Inn for a pre-wedding pint with friends.

The couple exchanged their vows in a beautiful ceremony at St Mary’s Cathedral, after which they were greeted by their guests with a reception of chilled fruit punch, gourmet canapés, and ice cream on the terrace.

From a photographer’s perspective, Newpark Hotel offers a plethora of captivating spaces, both indoors and outdoors, including a romantic swing tucked away in a hidden corner. As a Kilkenny native, I couldn’t resist incorporating a touch of the city into the couple’s wedding photos as well.
