Love in the Wilds - a day like no other on the Cliffs of Moher
Eloping to the Cliffs of Moher is the stuff of dreams isn’t it? Although named for a witch who, as legend would have it, met an untimely end while relentlessly pursuing Cú Chulainn – a man who would never love her back – Hag’s Head is remarkably popular amongst couples looking for a modern day elopement location.
Suffice to say that it is difficult to imagine a more spectacular location!
It’s easy to see why this sacred place is so popular for couples seeking a unique place to exchange their vows.
Perched on the most southerly point of the Cliffs of Moher, this is where Lisa and Ryan chose to exchange vows surrounded by spectacular views of the vast Atlantic Ocean and the historic Moher Tower. No amount of wind, rain or cold would have kept Lisa or Ryan away that day and their photos are a true snapshot of their love and the commitment they made to one another in this magical corner of Ireland.
Hag’s Head was chosen by the couple over the main Cliffs of Moher visitors’ site for its closer access to the cliff edge and this allowed me to capture some incredible photographs including, of course the unique sunset that you will only witness on this most westerly point of Europe.
